From the Secretary’s Desk (March 2017)

Busy, Busy, Busy is the word around J. Wendell Fargis Lodge so far this year. As you can see at the top of the page, there are many dates posted for happenings in and about the Lodge and other dates posted for events for March. I encourage you attend as many as possible.

Please remember to sign up for the Circumscribe Program. It is the way of the future for Masonry as we know it. If you need help, please let me know. Also, all

Brothers are encouraged to keep track of attending any Masonic Educational Events so our Education Chairman can use the info when making his report to the Zone Chairman.

Please notify the office of any phone number , address, email address or status changes.

We need to be able to communicate. Thanks.

From the Secretary’s Desk (February 2017)

Congratulations to all of the 2017 Elected and Appointed Officers. Our goal is to have a successful year and with the support of the Craft, we will succeed.

The 2017 dues are steadily coming in and we appreciate that. Please remember to sign in to the CIRCUMSCRIBE program as this is the way of the future.

From the Secretary’s Desk (January 2017)

Brethren,

As we come to the end of a fantastic and busy year, thanks to the Leadership of Worshipful Sam
and our dedicated officers, we want to credit the craft for their support also. Plans have already been
made for future endeavors which will enable our Lodge to look to even more growth. Working
together and communication is the key to success. Many of our Ladies have joined us for breakfast
and dinner, bringing enjoyable togetherness and ideas to help us as we make strides for the future.
We can be thankful that we live in a country that allows us freedom of choice to express Friendship
and Brotherly Love. “Happy New Year” to everyone.

Fraternally,

From the Secretary’s Desk (December 2016)

Brethern,
I hope you all had a very Happy Thanksgiving and are looking forward to a very Merry
Christmas and Happy New Year. 2016 has surely gone fast. I guess that means we are getting older.
Ha,ha. Our dues are coming in at a good rate and we thank you all for that. Remember to sign in
for the Circumscribe program. Call me if you have any questions. Our next big project will be to
replace the flat roof over fellowship hall, so we will need donations for that project.

Fraternally,
Secretary Frank

From the Secretary’s Desk (November 2016)

Brethren,

This year has surely been a fast one. Only three more Stated Meeting left. So come on out and
support your Lodge. A lot of events are scheduled for November and it would be great if we had
more Brothers attending the Schools of Instructions and the 11th & 12th Districts Meetings.

Fellowship and Education go hand in hand. It won’t be long until we will be celebrating
Thanksgiving and we wish everyone a fantastic time with family and friends.

Fraternally,
Secretary Frank

From the Secretary’s Desk (October 2016)

Brethren,

Congratulations to the three newly initiated Brothers. The EA Degree team practiced hard and put on an excellent Degree. Educated Masons are Dedicated Masons.

Important NOTE: Please give me a heads up if you have signed in on the Circumscribe Program. We need all of our Brothers who have computers to complete this sign up process.

It is now time to turn in your nomination paperwork to the Secretary if you are going to nominate a Brother from our Lodge for one of the five elected positions of officers. Events are posted on the bulletin board and the calendar. Please take time to read them and take note of them.

Fraternally,

Secretary Frank

From the Secretary’s Desk (September 2016)

The time sure is flying fast. Hopefully September will bring us some cooler weather. We had a fine showing at the Grand Master’s Official Visit on Saturday, August 27th. Thanks to all attending and their wives. I am happy to say that we welcome the Ladies to our dinners at our Stated Meetings and the Breakfast we hold on the second Saturday of each month. Keep it up Ladies.

Please check out the events as listed at the top of this page and make your calendars. Staying active is the sign of a positive Lodge. We are growing and that subject was a topic of conversation at the Official Visit on the 27th. We only have two Brothers who have not paid their 2016 dues. Which is a good sign. By the way the 2017 dues cards will be arriving in October. Also, please sign up for circumscribe as this is the new way of being on-board. Look at the Grand Lodge website under “circumscribe”.

From the Secretary’s Desk (August 2016)

Well here we are in August and the weather is hot, hot, hot. Please keep yourselves hydrated while spending anytime outdoors. It is exciting to note that J. Wendell Fargis No. 356 is a happy and productive Lodge. This comes from TEAMWORK and that is what Masonry is all about.

Please pay close attention to the dates of events for August as listed at the top of the page. Especially the Grand Masters Official visit on August 27th at the Morocco Temple. A good showing of support from our Lodge is very important. This event is for both the Brothers and their wives. Remember you must have your current dues card ready to show when registering.

On a sad note, I just received news that Past Master (1993) Neal Nance passed away. Please keep his widow Dollie and family in your prayers.

Fraternally,

R.W. Frank E. Kleese Sr.

From the Secretary’s Desk (July 2016)

As written above, we will not have any stated meetings in July. However, we still will have our monthly breakfast on Saturday July 9th. From 7:30 a.m.10:00 a.m. Please come out and support your Lodge. I will be on vacation until July 24th. However, I will have my cell phone on if you need to contact me.

From the Secretary’s Desk (April 2016)

Another Easter has passed and I hope you all had a Happy one. We are excited to experience our
50th Anniversary this month and invite you all to attend this great occasion. As you are aware, we
are saving money by sending the Trestle board out via e-mail. Please save the cover page of this
months edition as we will only send out the information page in the future, as the cover page only
changes once a year.
Please check your dues card to be sure you are current(2016) If you have the 2015 card, you are
overdue. Also, for the Perpetual members, it is necessary to pay the $20.00 Per Capita fee if you
did not include that fee in your original Perpetual fee. Otherwise, the Lodge will incur that
expense. We have 8 Brothers that need to send us this fee. We only have 25 Brothers who have not
paid their 2016 dues. You will help our budget by sending us your dues. Thank you.

Fraternally,

Frank Kleese
